Shopping Bag Sculpture by Brian Tolle

Artist Brian Tolle created his giant tribute to the creator of the fits shopping bag in 2011, thus naming it "Remembering Walter H. Deubner." The namesake of the sculpture, a St. Paul merchant, designed the timeless image of the first shopping bag in 1912. Built of stainless steel, the sculpture stands in front of the Los Cerritos Center and is outlined by LED lights that are visible at night. (Submitted by Joan Nasner)
