Shoshone Museum

Local artifacts, prehistoric giant camel bones, and mammoth tusks make this small museum a must-see if you're in the area. Lots of interesting rocks and mining history to learn about too - an overflowing fountain of information about the Amargosa River basin. The museum is located conveniently where Hwy 127 meets 178. While you're there, stop by Dublin Gulch to see the miners' caves.
