Description:
The lesser-known likeness of Lincoln sits at the Liberty Park Community Center. The life-sized bronze statue, comfortably seated on a bench, was created in 2005 by nationally renowned artist Mark Lundeen. Lincoln is holding notes from his Second Inaugural Address given on March 4, 1865. Movie buffs might recognize the same speech performed by Daniel Day Lewis in the 2012 film "Lincoln."
