Skateboarding Hall of Fame

Saves: 70
Check-ins: 21
This rebellious sport embodies an entire culture as well - one that was born in Southern California by surfers who needed something to do when the Pacific Ocean was calm. A sport that was always on the outskirts of mainstream society, it will finally be represented in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. This museum's inductees go back to 2009, but include skateboarding heavyweights such as Tony Hawk and Larry Stevenson who introduced the kicktail in 1971.
