Local street artist crew, Winston Death Squad, displayed their sense of irony with this 18x50 foot mural. It features a municipal-type city sign that reads "Skid Row City Limit, Population Too Many." The mural symbolizes the growing discontent that the residents of Skid Row have with the commercialization of historic areas within its boundaries and referring to them with more socially acceptable nomenclature. Community organizer, Jeff Page, commissioned the mural to protest the widening gentrification of this part of Downtown L.A. (Photo by Southern California)
