Smugglers Cave

Formed by the rocky California coast this cave is named for its jagged lines as well as well as its place right on the shore. If you go during the day the cave interiors are lit up by natural skylights and windows. On your visit bring a trash bag to help pick up litter and debris left by less careful visitors. The cave is easy to get to by car - it's a short distance from the 101. However, bring a pair of sturdy shoes to make your way down to the beach. (Submitted by Lou Melendez)
