Split Mountain Off-Road Drive

These canyons were in the making 20 million years ago. Today they are a favorite spot for people who love off-roading. Because the terrain is rough vehicles with proper 4WD may be in order. To get there go to Ocotillo Wells and turn right at Split Mountain Road. You'll find yourself on a dirt road called Fish Creek. After the canyon, you can hike for a mile to the Wind Caves.
