Description:
Squatters Cabin, a rustic log dwelling erected circa 1880, is situated along Huckleberry Trail in Sequoia National Park. It was crafted by an optimistic settler who later discovered that the territory in this wooded area had already been asserted by Hale Tharp. Tharp's cabin still stands at the northern edge of the adjacent Log Meadow.
