Stagecoach Inn Museum

The Stagecoach Inn Museum in Newbury Park, California is a historic landmark preserving the 1876 Grand Union Hotel, later known as the Stagecoach Inn. Originally a crucial stop for travelers between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, the inn faced demolition threats in the 20th century, prompting community efforts to relocate and restore it. Today, the Conejo Valley Historical Society manages the museum, showcasing well-preserved historic rooms and exhibits on Chumash Native American culture and the pioneer era. The museum's picturesque grounds include gardens and a picnic area, providing a serene setting for visitors.
