Description:
This Romanesque Revival structure was commissioned by Jane Stanford and built in 1903 as a memorial to her late husband, Leland. Noted for the amazing artistic depictions of Jesus Christ and his devotees on the northern facade, this is, as Stanford puts it, "the University's architectural crown jewel." While the church might not be open at the time you visit, you can view the mural from outside.
