Sweetwater River Bridge

This bridge which looks big and strong enough for vehicles doesn't connect to any roads. Although it crosses a river, sometimes that river runs dry in the summer. Today, it is a unique area for exploring favored by hikers, bicyclists, and joggers. The nearby San Diego National Wildlife Refuge preserve means you'll get to see plenty of creatures too. Watch out for skunks and rattlesnakes!
