Description:

Built in the 1930s in the Art Deco style, this museum features exhibits from the rich cultural history of the Kawaiisu tribe people who lived here in pre-Colonial times to the mining and ranching history of the late 1800s. Artifacts, antiques, photos, and complete interpretive guides give information on how this area was settled and subsequently developed. Don't forget to visit the other parts of the Tehachapi Heritage League such as the Errea House and outdoor murals.
