Tesoro Adobe Park

Maybe you've never heard of him, but Harry Carey starred in hundreds of westerns in the early 1900s. Most of those westerns were filmed in the Santa Clarita Valley which was largely undeveloped at that time and provided rich, rugged landscapes that looked great on celluloid. Harry Carey loved Santa Clarita, thus building his home on 2,000 acres of ranch land. In addition to being a film location, the ranch welcomed stars such as John Wayne and Will Rogers.
