The Cats in Los Gatos, California, is a historic roadhouse that has been serving the community since 1896. Originally a stagecoach stop and later a speakeasy, it has evolved into a beloved barbecue restaurant and live music venue. After a period of closure, The Cats reopened in May 2023 under the ownership of ChefCentury, led by entrepreneur Richard Tam. The revitalized menu offers a fusion of Texas-style brisket, Filipino dishes like Manila chicken and smoked crispy pata, and Hawaiian-inspired flavors. Executive Chef Adrian Pham and Wagyu specialist Rafael Lim bring diverse culinary expertise to the kitchen. The venue continues to host live blues and rock performances on weekends, maintaining its legacy as a community gathering spot.
