Built in 1908 for David B. Gamble (of Proctor and Gamble), this Pasadena home designed by architectural firm Greene and Greene is considered to be a paragon of the American Arts & Crafts style. Back to the Future fans will also recognize it as the home of time-hopping mad scientist Dr. Emmet Brown. Today, it’s owned by the city and the USC School of Architecture who annually select two ridiculously lucky architecture students to live there.
