The Garden of the Gods

Natural sandstone formations surrounded by a green landscape were given the name Red Rock Corral by some European Settlers. Its current (and more figurative) name was coined in 1859 by two surveyors who could see its future as a beer garden. While you can't visit any beer gardens to grab a lager or a radler from, you'll have plenty of activities to choose from - nature trails, hiking, horseback riding, and rock climbing - to name a few. Don't forget to stop at the visitor center to see some cool interactive exhibits.
