Description:
"The Guardian," created by artist Karen Cauvin Eustis, was originally intended for installation in Waveland, Mississippi on the day Hurricane Katrina struck, devastating the entire beach. However, since 2019, the sculpture has found its permanent home just off State Street in Los Altos. Eustis describes "The Guardian" as a loving reminder that we are the embodiment of miracles, dreams, new hopes, and new futures.
