Description:
Located in the East San Fernando Valley this is probably the greenest area in this dry area of Southern California. The 6.5-acre oasis was completed between 1980 and 1983 and designed by Dr. Koichi Kawana. A Zen meditation garden and a Three Buddhas arrangement are a couple of the sights to see. It's also been a film location, most notably for the "Star Trek" franchise. However, it's best feature is that it thrives on the reclaimed water processed by the nearby sewage plant.
