Description:

The ten-story, 65-foot-tall structure is sometimes referred to as the "faux lighthouse" because it is too far inland to be of any aid to watercraft. It nonetheless is one of the most breathtaking photo opps - flanked by the picturesque Long Beach Marina and the Los Angeles River. It is so named for the Lions Club which funds it and their "dedication to ending blindness in the world."
