The Wave House

Designed by Mario Romano, this über-expensive house brings new meaning to aluminum-siding. Made with brushed aluminum panels affixed to the exterior in an aesthetic crest-and-trough effect, the house fuses geometric symmetry with the calming textures and shapes of nature. A minimalist arrangement and a limited neutral color palette of black, white, and greys create a striking juxtaposition against the natural cedar accents inside and out. It's a home for a family, albeit an affluent one - the last listed price was between $5 and $6 million dollars.
