The Whaling Wall

Wyland's first whale mural was displayed on this exact wall in 1981, but it had to be painted over due to a legal dispute with a neighboring business. Yet, the artist determined to bring those colossal cetaceans back and thus repainted the wall in 2019, 38 years later. Wyland has made a name for himself internationally; his sea creature murals are displayed in China, Russia, and New Zealand.
