Top Gun Beach House

Update: The Top Gun Beach House has been totally restored and moved about two blocks north. It now sits in front of the ritzy Mission Pacific Hotel.

Fans of the ‘80s classic flick Top Gun will recognize this as the charming beachfront bungalow owned by Charlie (Kelly McGillis). Despite it being a significant Oceanside tourist attraction, over the years, the house became dilapidated and its future unclear. Thankfully, the 19th century Victorian recently got a makeover, and it looks like she’ll be staying put for the time being.
