Truckee-Donner Old Jail Museum

Located in the historic downtown area of Truckee, this old building was used quite frequently in the turbulent Old West era. These cells have held some of the most notorious criminals including "Baby Face" Nelson, "Ma" Spinelli, and possibly "Machine Gun" Kelly. The museum is only open on summer weekends from 11 AM to 4 PM until Labor Day.
