V. Sattui Winery

V. Sattui is a testament to the American Dream, beginning with Vittorio Sattui's immigration from Italy in 1882 and the establishment of his San Francisco winery in 1885. Despite a thriving business for 35 years, Prohibition forced closure. In 1976, Vittorio's great-grandson Dario Sattui revived the family legacy in Napa Valley, aspiring to create a "Napa D'Italia." The winery, the 46th to open post-Prohibition, now features impressive Italianate architecture, gardens, picnicking grounds, vineyards, a stone winery, museum, deli, gelateria, and event spaces. Pioneering wine experiences, V. Sattui believes in the shared joy of wine with friends and family, a tradition that began with simple picnic tables and continues as part of their true nature.
