Description:

Amsterdam-born brothers Alex and Eddie Van Halen adopted Pasadena as their hometown. It is said that the duo, in 1976, etched their surname into wet concrete a few blocks away from their childhood home. This small part of the sidewalk curb has gotten more attention recently with the 2020 death of Eddie; fans set up a makeshift memorial with flowers, candles, and messages written in chalk. There's a nearby liquor store which apparently the brothers once referred to as the "Van Halen Headquarters." (Submitted by Brenda Rios)
