Vernal Falls

Vernal Falls stands at 317 feet high and is a popular hiking destination for visitors to Yosemite. The trail to the top of the falls is called the Mist Trail and is approximately 3 miles round trip. The trail is considered to be strenuous as it involves steep climbs and many stairs, but the breathtaking views of the waterfall and surrounding scenery make it well worth the effort.
