Description:

Titled "Partners," this copper likeness of Walt and his cartoon scion, Mickey, was installed in 1993 in front of the other iconic Disney structure - Sleeping Beauty's castle. Created in celebration of Mickey Mouse's 65th birthday, the statue was the work of Blaine Gibson whose work is displayed all throughout the park. Gibson was not always a sculptor; his most famous work is the animation seen in classic Disney films such as "Bambi" and "Fantasia."
