Description:
The world-famous Watts Towers, as the well-known story goes, were built by Italian immigrant Simon Rodia with simple hand tools and raw determination— merely because he “wanted to do something big.” He succeeded. These mosaic-adorned steel structures are indeed a sight to behold, so it’s a pity that more So Cal locals haven’t visited out of apprehension about the infamous ‘hood. We say simply exercise some common sense. Grab some friends, visit during the day, and take a guided tour of this awesome L.A. landmark.
