Welcome to WEED Mural

Just to save you any disappointment, this mural is not an advertisement for Cannabis, nor does it have anything to do with the medicinal plant. The souvenir shop is instead in the business of selling gifts and trinkets. The town was named after Abner Weed, a lumber mill founder and pioneer who settled here in the late 1800s. Weed does love its puns; its motto is, "Weed like to welcome you." (Submitted by Roger Eric)
