West Kern Oil Museum

The history of Taft and its petroleum fields are preserved here along with old artifacts and equipment used to obtain this fuel. Knowledgeable docents will take through the indoor and outdoor gallery and answer any questions you have. It's also a great place to take kids with plenty of hands-on activities.
