Description:

Will Geer was an actor of the mid 1900s whose career was halted by the McCarthy era blacklisting. He began his open-air theater quite by accident; it expanded into an artists' colony in 1973. Geer, a Shakespeare aficionado, dedicated the rest of his life to this theater and garden, endeavoring to grow every plant mentioned by Shakespeare in his plays. For a schedule of events see the website. Tickets can be purchased in person or online. Parking is free on Topanga or $7 in the lot.
