Rooted in a deep connection to farming, William Ballentine inherited agricultural knowledge from his father and grandfather, fostering a lifelong passion for the craft. Having practically grown up on a tractor, he embraces hands-on vineyard maintenance, ardently believing that the essence of exceptional wine lies in the meticulous care of the vines, often expressing the mantra, "wine is made in the vineyard."
