Description:
This 4,000-year-old tree was struck by lightning perhaps 300 years ago creating a cavity which is now the focal point of this attraction. The tree is about 250 feet tall and the cavity is about 50 feet in height. A brief stop is all you need, perhaps a bit longer to visit the gift shop. Admission is reported to be $2-$5 per person with no set hours, being independently owned. The owners hang an "OPEN" sign outside when they are there.
