World's Largest Artichoke Statue

Castroville is known as the "Artichoke Center of the World," and so the World's Largest Artichoke Statue is a tribute to the city's bountiful produce. There's a farmer's market adjacent to the giant prickly plant. For foodies, the statue stands in front of the Giant Artichoke restaurant, which is the Bubba Gump of artichokes. The deep-fried artichoke seems to be a favorite here.
