Castlewood Canyon Dam Ruins

Saves: 25
Check-ins: 6
August 3, 1933 was a fateful day when constant rains contributed to the destruction of this dam. The break resulted in a catastrophic flood that covered Denver. Now the stone dam sits in a grassy field with a sign that warns people to stay off the remains. The ruins are in Castlewood Canyon State Park right off Hwy 83.
