The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is America's only mountainside zoo and can be found in Colorado Springs. The zoo covers 140 acres and is at an elevation of 6,800 feet above sea level. Their animal collection consists of over 750 animals which represent nearly 150 different species and more than 30 endangered species. The carousel and sky ride are just a sampling of some of the rides you'll also find on Cheyenne Mountain.
