Known as the most famous and largest gold mine in Breckenridge, Colorado, the Country Boy Mine offers mine tours, gold panning, exploration of the mine site, viewing exhibits, and sliding down a 55-foot ore chute! This historical landmark has been offering mine tours for over 20 years and you'll even get a hard hat to wear as you'll witness a live demonstration of the jack leg drill and listen to mining stories such as the blasting monkey, Colorado's mining history, how the tunnels were created, what tools were needed, and the dangers that faced these dedicated men who worked underground. The tour lasts around 45 minutes after which you can learn gold panning! Admission includes everything (and don't forget to visit the general store).
