Hammond's Candies Factory

Carl Hammond left high school to get a job as an apprentice in a candy factory. Years later he created his own candy business and founded Hammond's Candy Company where he created his first original candy, Honey Ko Kos, chocolates topped with shredded coconut. The rest is history! Now there are Hammond retail locations around the country. In its original location, Hammond's offers complimentary candy factory tours which are fun and educational for candy lovers of all ages. There you can see handcrafted candy canes, ribbon candy, and lollipops are pulled, twisted, and shaped by hand from the beginning to the end of the process. No reservations are required for the 30-minute tours which run every half-hour, Monday through Saturday.
