Lake Haiyaha

Lake Haiyaha is a picturesque alpine lake located in Rocky Mountain National Park. The lake is situated at an elevation of approximately 10,400 feet above sea level in a glacial cirque surrounded by rugged peaks. The lake is fed by snowmelt and the surrounding peaks and its waters are a striking shade of blue-green. To reach the lake visitors can embark on a challenging hike that begins at the Bear Lake Trailhead and ascends steeply through forested terrain and rocky outcroppings. The trail is approximately 4.2 miles round trip and is rated as moderately difficult due to the elevation gain and rocky terrain.
