Description:

The ruins of an old mining ghost town are situated against the stunning backdrop of the Colorado mountains. In the warmer months the meadows and mountains are blanketed in emerald grass, evergreens, and dotted with colorful wildflowers. The trail to the ruins is a roundtrip distance of just under 6 miles and is considered moderately paced. Being 13,000 feet above sea level, the sun and air can be intense so bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water/snacks!
