Previously known as Invesco Field, the Sports Authority Field at Mile High, commonly known as Mile High or Mile High Stadium, is an American football stadium in Denver, Colorado. Named after a sponsor, the stadium's primary tenant is the Denver Broncos. Opened in 2001, the stadium was mostly paid for by the Denver taxpayers. Even though the sponsor has been closed and liquidated, the Sports Authority name continues being used due to contract reasons.
