Originally discovered in 1871, the historical Phoenix Gold Mine has been seen in "National Geographic," "Ghost Hunters," "Globe Trekkers," and even educational software! The walking tour lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on how many questions the group has. After the tour you'll be invited to pan for gold in the nearby stream after your guide shows you how to pan. Two hiking trails are also available on property for your enjoyment.
