Rita the Rock Planter

Catch sight of Rita the Rock Plater, a creation by artist Thomas Dambo, as she works among the stones atop Little Grouse Mountain near Victor, CO. To find Rita, head to the Little Grouse Trailhead where there are two parking lots. For a longer hike (about 0.8 miles), park in the lower lot and enjoy panoramic views of the Sangre De Christo Mountain range while observing Rita in action. For a shorter walk (0.2 miles) with the same breathtaking views, follow Overlook Road from the lower lot to the upper lot. Rita is located just past the American Eagles Headframe.
