Sky Pond is a beautiful lake located in Rocky Mountain National Park. The best way to reach Sky Pond is via the Sky Pond Lake Trail, a 9-mile round trip hike with an elevation gain of 1,750 feet. The trail begins at the Glacier Gorge Trailhead where hikers will follow a well-marked path through dense forest and over babbling streams. After a mile or so, the trail begins to climb more steeply with several switchbacks leading up to Alberta Falls, a stunning waterfall cascading down the rocks.
