Swetsville Zoo

Saves: 39
Check-ins: 15
It is a zoo of sorts - with scrap metal sculptures manipulated into the shapes of animals. Named after the artist Bill Swets - the animals in his care were fashioned from old machine and vehicle parts from his days as a farmer. Now retired, he solely works on his hobby showing them to people daily. His zoo is open to the public at 11 AM every day but you should call to verify. The tour is self-guided; visitors are free to meander the zoo at their leisure. (Photo by Alexis Swaim-Chaffee)

The castle home at Swetsville. Great place to look at all the yard art.
