My Brother's Bar is the oldest bar in Denver, having served fine beers and spirits since 1873. Although the establishment has undergone name changes over the years, it has been known as "Brother's" since 1970. The bar's origins trace back to Jim and Angelo Karagas, who migrated from Detroit, Michigan to Denver, Colorado 50 years ago. Seeking an affordable business to purchase, they ultimately settled on Whitey's, which is now known as My Brother's Bar. (Submitted by Bethany Cosmo)
