Washing Machine Museum
What sounds like a very dry (no pun intended) experience is actually a delightful step into the past. The seemingly mundane washing machine is shown in its progression over the past several decades. If anything this museum gives us an appreciation for all the time we save with such an invention! Lee Maxwell, founder of the museum, surmised that the washing machine even helped to facilitate women's rights. Other home-ec devices at this museum include refrigerators, butter churns, and vacuum cleaners. For updated business hours call (970) 454-1856 before you go.
