Description:
An easy trail hike takes you to a stately stone tower with gorgeous views at the top. From the distance, surrounded by meadows and trees, the tower looks like it might be a princess tower complete with a staircase that winds its way around the exterior. It was bequeathed in 1942 to Columbia University by the Class of 1906. The park entrance is on West Street; you'll see a small parking lot on the south side of the street just east of Camp Awosting. From the lot, the trail is about half a mile long.
