Johnsonville Ghost Town

Saves: 27
Check-ins: 3
Many ghost towns in the U.S. are in the West, once thriving because of ore mines. Johnsonville is unique, built in a Victorian style that would be quite charming if it weren't so creepy. Something about the gingerbread trim and the shuttered windows are disquieting. After visiting, if you decide you'd like to own this village with its decaying mansions and restless spirits, it's for sale for about 2 million. (Photo by Erin Schmidt)
