Description:
This museum is the largest maritime museum in the U.S. Perhaps most notable is that this museum is not in a building but actually on the port. The vessels are docked in the water. The most fascinating vessel is the "Charles W. Morgan," a whaling ship with its tiered sails looking like it came straight off of pirate film set. The Morgan is, in fact, the last wooden whaling ship in the world.
